I'm Arunakumar Tavva, Senior Enterprise Architect & Technology Leader — originally from India, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
I am a senior Enterprise Architect and IT Leader with 2 decades of experience designing, governing, and delivering enterprise-scale technology platforms across financial services and highly regulated environments. I lead enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and digital transformation initiatives that support a global financial regulatory ecosystem with a large number of regulated entities.
My expertise sits at the intersection of business strategy and hands-on architecture. I specialise in defining TOGAF-aligned enterprise architecture frameworks, designing and governing cloud-native platforms on Azure and AWS, providing architectural oversight for microservices and Kubernetes-based platforms (AKS / EKS / OpenShift), and ensuring security, resilience, and regulatory compliance by design.
I work closely with C-suite leaders, regulators, engineers, and vendors to translate complex technical decisions into clear business outcomes. My approach is pragmatic and outcome-driven — focused on technology roadmaps aligned to business capabilities, architecture governance that accelerates (not blocks) delivery, and platforms that are secure, observable, and built for scale.
Alongside my enterprise career, I build and ship iOS apps as a solo founder — fitness trackers, food ordering platforms, logistics apps — and I am a published author on Amazon with four books covering product management, fintech, and human relationships.
